FACTEURDIX
Develop and market the most energy-efficient vehicles

FacteurDix wants to change scale and divide the energy consumption of electric cars by 4. The optimization of mass and aerodynamics, combined with the use of the best automotive technologies, make this record possible for a homologated vehicle.
Downscaling

Primary energy consumption has been steadily increasing since the 20th century. It is one of the main causes of climate change.
1
Car is the first contributor of primary energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions for households (France data) .
Usage accounts for 80% of the environmental footprint of ICE cars. For EVs, this represents 60% for a European energy mix, and this does not even include the battery, the size of which is determined by usage.
Why

Founded in 2024 by Marc Guillemaud and Augustin Roulleaux Dugage, two engineers passionate about energy, FacteurDix is supported by competent automotive professionals to develop their first vehicle LINE and seek for the energy consumption record..
Team
Automotive engineering office working in motorsport and prototype design for OEMs. Quotes from the CEO: Because the solution to humanity's greatest current challenge is not the energy transition, that is, switching from one energy source to another, but rather drastically reducing global energy consumption to preserve our planet and humanity's ability to live on it, the FacteurDix project seems more than relevant to me. For 40 years, FASTER has specialized in mobility, particularly in the automotive sector, as a racing car tuner—where the goal is to get the most out of a machine to be as competitive as possible—but also as a designer and manufacturer of prototypes for industry as part of innovation projects. Whether it's electric vehicle projects for over 30 years, or hydrogen mobility for the past few years, we've acquired solid experience and a comprehensive vision of the issues surrounding mobility, vehicle efficiency, and energy yield. Personally, having been passionate about automobiles and mobility in general since childhood—aviation, aerospace, nautical engineering, and so on—I've always been captivated by what makes these machines so powerful: aerodynamics, weight reduction, vehicle dynamics, and the engineering intelligence required to achieve optimum efficiency regardless of the discipline or the objectives to be achieved, whether it's the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which has given rise to some fabulous machines, the absolute speed records at Bonneville Speed Week, but also the Eco-Marathon events, where the goal is to cover the greatest distance using a tiny amount of fuel, or the World Solar Challenge, where the goal is to cross Australia from one side to the other powered solely by solar energy. Each discipline requires humans to surpass themselves and call upon their greatest intelligence and creativity to achieve optimum efficiency. It's time to put this to work for our future. I am pleased to be able to participate and contribute to the FacteurDix project, which, from my perspective and through its relevance, has clearly grasped the challenges of our time. I would be happy to count you among the contributors to this project, however you choose. Welcome to the future. Partnership
Independent design studio with two branches: automotive design and fashion design. A word from the CEO: "When we met Marc and Augustin to discuss the possibility of collaborating on the Facteur Dix adventure, we were captivated by the concept: A sensible and intelligent vehicle, capitalizing on simple and effective solutions, with that little extra: passion. We too often forget this important point, and this approach seemed relevant to us. The automobile of tomorrow must not be punitive and boring, and as enthusiasts passionate about our work, this was an opportunity to seize. Proposing a dynamic, fresh, and effective vision to offer a solution to a problem without it seeming sad or serious. Facteur Dix is a positive and energetic project, and we are happy to be involved in it at our level." Renan Legloire Independent automotive designer and 3D modeler for almost 20 years in the automotive industry.
